Glatfelter & AIG Programs welcome Erin Fry as Chief Underwriting Officer

YORK, PA – May 16, 2022 –   As we continue to position Glatfelter and AIG Programs for long-term success, we're pleased to announce that we appointed Erin Fry as Chief Underwriting Officer (CUO) of Glatfelter & AIG Programs in May of 2022.

Our underwriting excellence is a major factor in our success and the addition of Erin as CUO is another important step forward as we continue to pursue our goals. In this new role, Erin will partner with Glatfelter and AIG Programs leadership, product development and the AIG Global CUO office to design, implement, and support underwriting and reinsurance priorities and strategies. She will also oversee the development of underwriting guidelines, policies, procedures and authorities in accordance with AIG's overall risk appetite.

Erin brings very strong technical expertise in both admitted and non-admitted markets and a keen understanding of our business drivers. She joins us from Munich Re America, where she was President of Public Entity and Innovative Risk Solutions and served on the Munich Re Specialty Insurance Executive Committee. Previously, she worked for QBE, North America and XL Group in senior underwriting and claims roles. Erin is a York, PA native, and earned her J.D. from Penn State University, Dickinson School of Law and her B.S. from West Chester University.
