As COVID-19 continues to spread globally, Glatfelter is taking actions in response to this unique and evolving humanitarian crisis to balance the safety and health of our associates, clients, distribution partners, and other stakeholders while preserving business continuity and the quality of technical expertise and service that defines our company. We are monitoring developments closely, including following recommendations from the World Health Organization (WHO), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), as well as other local, regional and global health authorities.

It is our hope that you and your families are safe and doing well under these circumstances. Glatfelter is doing all it can to help our business community through this challenging time.

Below are some of the actions we are taking as we navigate these unprecedented challenges:

  • Our offices remain open and operational, and our associates are ready to serve you.
  • Effective Monday, March 16, we instituted a work-from-home policy to protect the health and safety of our associates while ensuring continuity of client services.
  • Glatfelter has prohibited all in-country business air travel absent of exceptional circumstances related to claims handling and other critical operations.
  • Please continue to contact your Glatfelter representatives for support. We thank you in advance for your patience should you experience any delays.

Please continue to encourage clients to take all necessary and prudent steps to mitigate losses. Please also encourage them to reach out to their brokers and agents to discuss claims questions.
