Glatfelter Insurance Group is looking for a General Liability Adjuster

Full-time position in York, PA location responsible for all aspects of technical file handling for general liability claims arising out of our national product offerings comprised of special districts, schools, municipalities and police departments; emergency service organizations; commercial ambulance; religious institutions; and hospice/home health/senior living organizations. This position will require the investigation, evaluation and resolution of coverage issues and litigated and non-litigated claims.  The ideal candidate will have knowledge of the legal process and the ability to effectively manage counsel. Some travel required.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years handling moderate exposure and litigated claims. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent transferrable industry experience. Must hold current state adjusting licenses or pass licensing exams within an aggressive period of time. AIC designation preferred.
