Job Description

Seeking a full-time in-house commercial auto adjuster in our York, PA location.  Technical position involves the direct handling of claims for our national product offerings comprised of:  emergency service; commercial ambulance; hospice/home health; and public entities including schools.  This position will require the investigation, evaluation and resolution of auto property damage claims.  Ideal candidate will be able to understand and interpret coverage and contracts; conduct timely and thorough liability and damages investigations; effectively manage and direct vendors; prepare correspondence, reports and coverage letters.   

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years commercial auto claims experience.  Bachelor’s degree or transferrable industry experience and knowledge.  AIC designation and knowledge of emergency service vehicles, commercial truck repair and adjustment of total loss claims (including salvage disposal) are a plus.  Multi-state adjuster licensing is required. Must hold required licenses or pass required examinations to obtain required licenses soon after hire.
