Job Description

Glatfelter Insurance Group is seeking an Underwriting Assistant to join our Public Practice Underwriting team. Our team member assists underwriters in gathering and analyzing information needed in order to perform the underwriting function. Processes all customer service and related automated transactions within the region, as needed.     

Qualifications

◾Graduation from high school with appropriate coursework in English and Math leading to proficiency in verbal and written communication skills.

◾Minimum one (1) year property-casualty agency or company experience preferred. 

◾Ability to process a heavy volume of detailed work on the computer requiring considerable concentration.
