Job Description

Seeking a full-time, in-house, Auto Physical Damage Representative in the York, PA location for claims arising out of our national product offerings that include municipalities, schools, emergency service organizations and hospice/home health/senior living facilities. Duties include the investigation, evaluation, and settlement of total loss, auto physical damage, and minor fixed property claims according to established procedures and in a manner that reflects our corporate philosophy of providing the finest service possible. Responsibilities also include the handling of diverse types of salvage, processing vehicle titles and state forms, maintaining salvage logs, and data entry.

Qualifications

Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in written form, must be self-motivated and able to make decisions within authority level. Solid organizational skills and mathematical aptitude are essential. Knowledge of emergency services and commercial vehicles and the ability to read and interpret vehicle estimates is a plus. The successful candidate must have or obtain a PA Notary Public license as well as claim adjuster’s licenses in various states. Secondary school education is required and two to five years of total loss claim experience is preferred. Experience in a related field will be considered.
