We are able to offer a broad array of specialized products and services to our retail, wholesale and specialty clients because of the exceptional capabilities and performance of our third operating division – Insurance Company Operations. Our in-house capabilities, which differentiate us from other large, regional brokerage firms, include underwriting management, policy administration, product/program management, loss control, claims administration, licensing and compliance, actuarial analysis, captive feasibility studies and reinsurance.

These services are provided through:

• Glatfelter Underwriting Services, Inc., a program manager, underwriting services provider, and brokerage unit provides independent agents and brokers access to property and casualty products and services they may be unable to access on direct basis.
• GIG Reinsurance Company, Ltd., is an agency-owned captive we established in 1993 to share in the underwriting results of our various specialty programs. This enables us to exercise greater control over the coverage, cost and quality of service provided to our clients.
• Glatfelter Claims Management, Inc., a wholly owned, third-party claims administrator that provides claims administration services for clients in our various specialty programs
